Doyle More Than Familiar with MU-KU Rivalry

October 24, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

The Tiger football team is getting ready to face Kansas. The MU-KU rivalry is the second oldest in college football history beginning in 1891. Minnesota-Wisconsin is the oldest. One player who knows a thing or two about the game is senior linebacker Sean Doyle learned early on that this was a big game. Doyle is from the Kansas City area, playing his high school football at Rockhurst. Doyle admits that his friends and family were all Jayhawk fans and he was given a hard time after his decision to play in Columbia. In his senior season, Doyle is one of the team’s defensive captains.
