The NCAA Division II football poll is out and both Missouri teams have moved up. Northwest Missouri State’s win over Pittsburg State last Thursday impressed the American Football Coach’s Association enough to move them up two spots to #4. Central Missouri State topped Washburn over the weekend and also made a two-spot jump to #6. But in the Midwest Regional poll, CMSU is #1 and NWMSU is #2. The top four teams in the region will advance to the 16-team national tournament at the end of the regular season. The Mules and Bearcats will meet in Maryville on November 2nd. In the NAIA poll, Evangel College of Springfield has moved up three spots to #17.
