The police chief in Jackson has quit after sexual harassment allegations were made against him. The Mayor says he accepted the resignation of Marvin Sides in the interest of a quick resolutlion of the complaints. Sides resigned after an investigaiton by a clinical psychologist from Lee’s Summit. The Highway Patrol is running a second investigation to determine if any criminal charges can be justified.
