A partially torn knee ligament could keep Mizzou running back Zack Abron out of Saturday’s homecoming game against Kansas. If Abron isn’t ready, Gary Pinkel may go with the combination of T.J. Leon and Tyrone Roberson. Abron has averaged 70 yards rushing per game and his 11 touchdowns rank second in the Big XII. He’ll wear a brace in practice this week and will spend extra time in the weight room trying to rehab the knee. He injured the joint in Saturday’s 52-38 loss to Texas Tech. It marked the team’s third straight defeat. In yesterday’s press conference, head coach Gary Pinkel used words like “disturbed” and “sick” to describe his feelings for the teams three-game losing streak. The Tigers face Kansas for a Homecoming match up in Columbia on Saturday.
