Healey PBA Winner in KC

October 21, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

Patrick Healey Jr. threw a strike in the 10th frame of yesterday’s championship match of the Greater Kansas City Classic to beat Michael Gaither 243-227. It was Healey’s first win on the PBA and for his efforts he earned a $40,000 payday. Healey threw five straight strikes to begin the match, but needed the last-minute heroics to bring home the victory. Pete Weber of St. Ann, Missouri failed to make the round of 16. It was the first PBA event in the Kansas City area since 1999.
