Carnahan-Talent Set To Debate

October 21, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

After weeks of long-distance posturing, our two major U.S. Senate candidates go head to head in a debate tonight. Senator Jean Carnahan and former St. Louis area Congressman Jim Talent will square off in the studios of public television station KETC in St. Louis. The program will be broadcast on other public television stations throughout Missouri as well as on many of these Missourinet stations tonight. It also will be archived on our website, www.missourinet.com. Carnahan and Talent will have one other joint appearance – Thursday, in Columbia, before the Missouri Press Association. They’ll be joined in that forum by the other two candidates, Daniel Romano of the Green Party and Tamara Millay of the Libertarian Party.
