If die-hard Rams fans pull out their old press clippings, they’ll recall the Rams drafting a young tight end they planned on turning into a full back. As it turned out, Ernie Conwell was a pretty good tight end. But six years later, those plans to put him in the backfield have been revived. Conwell will get the start at full back this weekend against the Seahawks. He’s been forced into the position as a result of a rash of injuries at the position. Starter James Hodgins been out with a foot injury and Hetherington has an injured groin.
