Kansas City will also be hosting it’s first Pro Bowlers Association event in three years. The Greater Kansas City Classic will get rolling later on today at the Lunar Bowl in Blue Springs. Today the large field will be whittled down to 64 players. After tomorrow’s qualifiers, there will be just 16 bowlers remaining. Five will be left standing after Saturday. On Sunday the semi-finals and finals will be broadcast live on ESPN starting at noon. There will be $200,000 in prize money on the line this weekend. This the second stop of the 2002-2003 tour.
