The Conservation Department says a cougar hit by a car in Kansas City last weekend was either wild or had lived in the wild for quite a while. Agents say there’s no evidence it had ever been in captivity. It had been living on deer. The cougar was seven feet long, nose to tail and weighed 125 pounds and was two or three years old.
