A jury in St. Louis County has given almost $3.3-Million to a former newspaper delivery boy who rode his bicycle into the street from between two parked vehicles and was hit by a tractor trailer truck in the central Missouri town of Mexico. Christian Boggs was 13 at the time. He’s now 20. The jury says the owners of the truck, Archer-Daniels-Midland, knew the street outside its plant was congested, so ADM is 60 percent at fault. The truck driver has been ruled 13 percent at fault and the drivers of the two trucks that were parked have been ruled 10 percent at fault each. Boggs has been ruled seven percent at fault so the judge can reduce the total amount he is to get by that amount. Appeals of the rulling are possible.
