Chiefs Lose Nailbiter

The Chiefs dropped to 3-3 with a 35-34 loss to the Chargers. This week it was Kansas City who had the lead, and watched another team come back in the fourth quarter. The Chiefs took a 24-14 lead into the fourth quarter and led 31-21 midway thought the final frame. But Drew Brees led San Diego to two touchdowns in the final 8:06 of the game to win it. The last strike came with :10 on the clock. He worked around two interceptions to pass for 319 yards. Trent Green was 17-29 for 236 yards, three touchdowns and two picks. Priest Holmes rushed for 63 yards and caught seven passes for 91 yards. The Chiefs come home to Arrowhead next week to face the Broncos.
