When you have the worst defense in football you have to ask the question, “Does it really matter who starts?” It’s safe to assume that isn’t the attitude of Dick Vermeil, but it is an interesting question. The Chiefs could find out how much they’ll miss safety Greg Wesley next Sunday. Wesley left the Jets game with a shoulder injury and is questionable this week. Wesley is tied for the NFL lead in interceptions with four this season. Kansas City will most likely be without Morten Andersen for kick off duty. The team looked at four kickers on Tuesday. Andersen’s pulled hamstring is apparently not severe enough to keep him from kicking field goals and extra points. The Chiefs take on the Chargers this Sunday in San Diego.
