Rolen Still Hurting as Birds Await Opponent

October 7, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

According to an article on ESPN.com, Scott Rolen continues to struggle with lifting his arm. He suffered a left shoulder sprain in Thursday’s win over the Diamondbacks. The Cardinals are hoping to have Rolen back sometime in the National League Championship Series, which begins on Wednesday. The Cardinals await the winner of the Giants/Braves series, which will conclude tonight with the fifth and final game. The NLCS gets underway on Wednesday. If the Giants advance, the Cards will have homefield advantage. If the Braves are victorious, Game One will be in Atlanta.
