Missouri’s biggest natural gas company is raising its rates by $14-Million. At the customer level, that works out to about $1.80 more each month on a Laclede Gas bill. Laclede serves several counties in eastern Missouri. The company promises not to ask for another rate increase for at least 16 months. Laclede originally wanted to jump its rates more than three times the amount the Public Service Commission has approved.
