Crouch Still Wants to Play…as a QB

October 4, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

Former rams wide receiver Eric crouch says he wants to be a quarterback. Crouch said in an interview that he’d only return to football if he could play over center. He was the Rams second pick in this year’s draft. Last year Crouch earned the Heisman Trophy as a quarterback at Nebraska. Crouch surprised everyone by retiring before ever playing a regular season game in the NFL. He said a number of injuries forced him to re-evaluate life as a professional football player.
