The Cardinals are a game away from advancing to the National League Championship series. They were 2-1 winners over the Diamondbacks in game two of their division series. J.D. Drew hit a home run in the third to give the cards 1-0 lead. But in the 8th Quinton Mc Cracken doubled in Greg Colbrunn to tie it. Miguel Cairo hit the game winner in the top of the ninth inning to score Edgar Renteria to put St. Louis on top 2-1 On the mound Chuck Finley pitched six and a third allowing four hits and no runs. Jason Isringhausen worked the ninth inning, grabbing the save. The only down side to the game was the loss of Scott Rolen. The cardinal third baseman collided with Alex Cintron and suffered a sprained shoulder. More tests will be performed in St. Louis today. Game three at Busch Stadium on Saturday.
