The people who run the Powerball game think it’s too easy to win. So, starting with the October 9th game, you’ll have to match numbers from a pool of 53. You currently have to match numbers from a pool of 49. Adding four numbers to the pool means chances of winning go from one in 80-Million to one in 120-Million. It’s the first increase in the numbers pool since 1997.
