Bush Apologizes for DWI, Will Play on Sunday

September 27, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

Chiefs Linebacker Lew Bush apologized to his team, coaches, and fans yesterday for his DWI arrest in Kansas City earlier this week. Bush will play this week as he awaits punishment from the league. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first drunk driving charge for the team lately. Defensive back Greg Wesley and lineman Willie Roaf have both been cited for driving drunk since the conclusion of last season. The Chiefs enter this Sunday’s contest with the Dolphins with a 1-2 record and the worst defense in the league. Miami enters the game with a perfect 3-0 mark.
