September 25, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

Another Springfield Kickapoo basketball player has agreed to play at a Division I school next season. Senior Center Anthony Tolliver has given a verbal commitment to Creighton University. Tolliver, 6-9, 220 pounds, chose CU over SMS, West Virginia, and Boston College. Last week, teammate Deven Mitchell announced that he would attend SMS. The Chiefs point guard, Spencer Laurie, is considering SMS, Mizzou, Minnesota, and North Carolina St. Kickapoo was 26-2 last season.
