A bizzare game for the Kansas City Royals last night in Chicago as a father and his son jumped from the stands at Comiskey Park and attacked Royals’ First Base Coach Tom Gamboa as the Royals came to bat the top of the 9th inning. The Royals immediately flooded the field in Gamboa’s defense and subdued the two who were escorted from the field and charged with assault. Gamboa came away from the incident with a cut above the eye, but otherwise said he was okay.
