The Blues are back on the ice tonight as a slate of NHL pre season games get underway. St. Louis will take on the Bruins in Worcester, Massachusetts this evening. Head coach Joel Quenneville has been happy with what he’s seen from his youngsters and veterans alike and he’s expected to mix play both quite a bit tonight. Last season the Blues made the playoffs for the 22nd straight season. The Red Wings, who went on to win the Stanley Cup, knocked them out in the Western Conference Semifinals. Since Worcester is the Blues minor league affiliate, it will be considered a home game.
