September 18, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

Quin Snyder got his second thumbs up for next years recruiting class. 6-5 shooting guard Thomas Gardner of Portland, Oregon has given Mizzou a verbal commitment to play basketball in Columbia next year. Gardner averaged 16 points, seven rebounds and two steals per game at Jefferson High School as a junior. He joins Ousmane Konate, a 6-8 power forward from Senegal. He committed in July. The verbal commitments are not binding. The two players can sign letters of intent as early as November 13th.
