Former Kansas City area amateur basketball coach, Myron Piggie will have to pay over $250,000 to four universities to cover legal costs that he caused. Mizzou is one of the four. Piggie was found guilty of paying a number of his former players, including former Tiger Kareem Rush. The University spent its own money conducting investigations to find out if the allegations were true or not. It was learned later that Rush accepted $2,300 from Piggie while playing on his AAU team in high school. Other players he paid were Kareem’s brotehr JaRon, Corey Magette, Korleone Young, and Andre Williams.
