The case against John Edward Robinson has begun in Kansas. Kansas authorities are pressing their case in Johnson County against Robinson who is charged with killing three women there. Missouri authorities await their chance to prosecute Robinson on charges that he murdered three women and stuffed them in barrels on his Cass County farm. Jury selection has begun in the trial. Three hundred potential jurors were questioned at the Johnson County Courthouse in Olathe, Kansas, on Monday. More than 100 potential jurors are asking for hardship excuses to get out of jury duty. Jury selection alone is expected to take a week.
