A measure extending collective bargaining rights to fire and ambulance personnel will appear on the November ballot. The Missouri State Council of Fire Fighters and the Secretary of State’s Office appeared before a Circuit Judge in Jefferson City following an agreement that had been reached between the sides on Monday. That agreement overturns an earlier ruling by the Secretary of State’s Office that supporters had fallen short of the signatures needed to put the measure on the ballot. It states the supporters of the measure did collect enough valid signatures for inclusion on the November 5th ballot.
