The second home season of the Springfield Spirit hockey team begins tonight. They’ll be in action against the Capital Centre Pride in Springfield this evening. The Spirit are a part of the North American Hockey League which is a junior league team is a member of the North American Hockey League. Last year the team moved from St. Louis to Springfield. Rams defensive end Grant Wistrom is a partial owner of the team. They’ve already played three games on the road and have a record of 0-2-1.
