A Kansas City man who says he does not remember how he was hurt while he was in police custody has asked for an investigaiton into possible police brutality. The complaint has been filed by Abe Rand, who was stopped for drunken driving last Sunday night. Blood tests at a hospital showed he had more than four times the legal limit – point-365. Missouri’s drunk driving limit is point-08. A Kansas City Star reporter who has seen the police videotape of the arrest says Rand fell on the street and landed on his face when police were getting him out of his car.
