Woody Williams won his eighth game of the season as the Cards beat the Brewers 3-0 in Milwaukee. Williams went five innings, giving up three hits and one walk. Albert Pujols and Scott Rolen drove in runs in the fourth inning to put the Cardinals on the Board. Pujols now has 115 RBI’s which leads the National League. In the seventh inning, Rolen made it 3-0 when he scored on a wild pitch from Milwaukee starter Ben Diggins. St. Louis has won six in a row. Last night’s contest was the first of ten straight road games. St. Louis holds a five and a half game lead in the National League Central over Houston.
