The Rams lost to the Broncos 23-16. St. Louis had a tough time getting in the end zone on Sunday. Their only touchdown was a run from Marshall Faulk run in the third quarter. Trailing 16-13 in the fourth quarter, the Rams opted against a field goal in the fourth quarter, but failed on their attempt to get a first down. Brian Griese led Denver on a 71-yard touchdown drive to give them a 23-13 lead. The Rams got a late field goal, but got no closer. Kurt Warner passed for 315 yards while Faulk ran for 91 yards in the loss.
