St. Louis Congressman Lacy Clay says an agreement between the Justice Department and the St. Louis Board of Elections doesn’t go far enough to clean-up problems that arose during the November, 2000 elections. Two major problems arose in St. Louis after the presidential elections in 2000: rampant voter fraud that allowed ineligible votes and massive tie-ups at the voting booths that turned many legitimate voters away.
