Blues Make Offer to Tkachuk

The Blues have offered winger Keith Tkachuk a new contract. Tkachuk, who’s already under contract for the season, would like to get a new deal in place before the season starts. This summer he signed a one-year qualifying offer, with the understanding that he and the team would re-negotiate for a more substantial. He was reportedly offered a five-year contract worth $45-million. Tkachuk, who says he wants to end his career in St. Louis, led the team in goals last season
