He may not be ready to play yet, but the fact that Ryan Sims is practicing is a relief to the Chiefs. The first-round draft pick’s deal was finalized yesterday and Sims participated in his first practice since the mini-camps. He also has dropped his collusion complaint he filed last month. Sims will miss this Sunday’s season opener against the Browns, but the team hopes to have him ready to go in the next couple of weeks.
