The race for Missouri’s U.S. Senate seat has been the talk of political junkies for some time. Now, the rest of the country is catching on. NBC’s “Meet the Press” has invited incumbent Democrat Senator Jean Carnahan and Republican Senate Candidate Jim Talent to debate the issues at NBC Studios in Washington on Sunday, October 6th. Talent, a former St. Louis area Congressman, has already accepted the “Meet the Press” offer. Senator Carnahan has yet to decide whether to accept or decline.
