The Rams and Chiefs will meet tonight in Kansas City for the Governor’s Cup as both teams put the wraps on the pre-season. St. Louis enters the match up with and 0-3 mark in exhibition play, Kansas City is 2-1. Mike Martz still isn’t expected t play his starters too much. Neither is Dick Vermeil. On Wednesday Kansas City got good news when first round pick, Ryan Sims agreed to a contract. But Vermeil isn’t necessarily happy. He told the Kansas City Star that Sims is 14 pounds overweight and not in playing condition. Sims won’t play in the game tonight and isn’t expected to be back on the field anytime soon. Tonight’s contest will be the fifth pre-season meeting between the two teams. The Rams are 4-0. In the regular season, Kansas City topped the St. Louis 54-34 in 2000. The two teams will meet again at Arrowhead on December 8th.
