Farmland Industries has gotten bankruptcy court permission to sell about $11-Million worth of assets. Farmland, based in kansas City, will sell some warehouses, feed stores, a petroleum pipeline, and some otherthings. Farmland is the nation’s biggest farm cooperative. The company has yet to file a reorganization plan with the court. CEO Robert Terry denies the sale of assets is the first step in liquidating the company.
