Authorities Ponder Options In Wife Killing Case

August 28, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

St. Louis County’s prosecutor is thinking about what to do next with Kenneth Baumruk, convicted of killing his wife during a courthouse shooting rampage a decade ago and sentenced to death. The State Supreme Court saysBaumruk did not get a fair trial because it was held in the same courthouse where the shooting took place. The Court has voted 4-3 to send the case back to St.Louis County. It’s up to the prosecutor to decide whether to call fora new trial for Baumruk. If he doesn’t, Baumruk goes free.
