The Royals couldn’t stop the green machine last night, losing to the A’s 6-3 . Former Royal Jermaine Dye started slow. Kansas City starter Darrell May fanned Dye in his first two at bats. But Dye got his revenge in the sixth inning with an RBI single, which broke a 1-1 tie. The A’s scored four runs in the sixth inning and never looked bask. Dye went 3-5 driving in two runs. With the loss, May’s record dropped to 3-9 on the season. It was Oakland’s 13th win in a row. The Royals and A’s will meet again tonight.
