A clinic that operates in Savannah and St. Joseph has settled a Medicare fraud case with a $446,000 settlement. The federal prosecutor had charged Med Clinic with filing false or fraudulent Medicare repayment claims. The settlement is of a federal civil suit. A spokesman for the clinic blames a computer problem and a misunderstanding of Medicare rules.
