Missouri student scores on the ACT are up a tick this year, although not as many students took the test. The ACT is one of the two major tests that colleges use to determine an incoming student’s ability to do college work. Missouri’s average score this time was 21.5, up a tenth from last year, and seven-tenths of a point above the national average. More than 41,300 students took the tests this year, down about 1,300 from last year.
