Former SMS All-American Jackie Stiles had successful wrist surgery yesterday. Stiles was hobbled by injuries in her second WNBA season. The wrist and a case bursitis in her heel forced her to miss 11 games with the Portland Fire this year. She’s expected to recover in 2-3 weeks. Her minutes dropped from 32 to 18 per game, she scored six points per game after averaging 15 her rookie season. In her four years at SMS, Stiles became the all-time leading women’s scorer in the history of the NCAA
