More federal money is coming to Missouri so the state can complete its juvenile justice system automation project. Senator Bond has announced a $2.5 Million grant for this year and an additional one million dollars for next year to complete the computerization of the state juvenile justice system. Bond says the project began after he heard from juvenile officials about problems with the old system. Bond says the pilot project, which began in the late 90s, has become a model for the nation. It has already received $11 Million over the years.
