Missouri Congressman Wants to Hear from Former Clinton Cabinet Member on Enron

August 20, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

Northeast Missouri Congressman Kenny Hulshof wants to hear from former Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin as Congress investigates the collapse of Enron. Rubin left the Clinton Administration to work for Citigroup, where he was involved in dealings with Enron. Hulshof suggests politics might be standing in the way of Rubin being summoned to testify. The Senate committee investigating corruption, controlled by Democrats, has so far refused to call Rubin, a Democrat. But, the House committee investigating the corruption, controlled by Republicans, has also failed to order Rubin to appear.
