More than 125 friends and relatives of soldiers missing in action since the start of World War II have gathered in Kansas City for a Pentagon briefing on efforts to find their missing loved ones. The Pentagon says about 78,000 people remain missing from World War II. Another 8,100 Americans are still missing from the Korean War. Vietnam accounts for nearly 2,000 MIAs. And about 125 more are missing from various Cold War missions. A spokesman for the Air Force says teams are focusing efforts in Korea and Vietnam.
