Webb City Still Alive, Barely

August 19, 2002 By admin Leave a Comment

The Webb City Little League baseball team is still alive, but their future depends on the outcome of other games, as well as their own. After dropping to 0-2 with 1-0 and 2-1 losses, they will need Fort Worth, Texas to beat Worcester, Massachusetts and Webb City will have to beat Waipahu, Hawaii tonight to advance to the single elimination round of the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Fort Worth and Worcester will play this afternoon at 1 o’clock. Webb City and Waipahu will square off at 7 o’clock.
