Two teams will represent the Show-Me State in the American Legion baseball tournament which gets underway today. The regional competition gets underway across the nation. Springfield Hillcrest and Blue Springs are in the Mid-South division. Springfield Hillcrest advanced by beating Dunklin County in the state title game last Saturday in Columbia. They face Edmonds, Oklahoma. Blue Springs gets in because they’re hosting the tournament. They’ll take on West Point, Mississippi.
