A multi-million dollar expansion of light rail in St. Louis has been approved by the St. Louis County Council. The Council has given its blessing to a $550-Million extension of MetroLink from Forest Park to Shrewsbury. Under the plans which now need the endorsement of the Board of Aldermen, the train would travel past Washington University into downtown Clayton.
