There is growing optimism in the Republican Party that the GOP might capture the House in November. House Republican Leader Catherine Hanaway of Warson Woods says good candidates were recruited and those who were unsuccessful in last week’s primary balloting are pledging to help the victors. Hanaway says redistricting and term limits could be just what the Republicans need to capture the House. The Republicans currently hold 75 seats, with a vacancy in one GOP district. They expect to pick up atleast 6 seats through redistricting. That would put them in the majority in the 163 member body.
