The effort to reopen Kemper Military School in Boonville for fall classes has failed. The school went into bankruptcy in June, but some former employees have been hoping to get enough students to sign up for fallclasses to reopen the school on a limited basis. The group was hoping for 70 students, but only 57 families reserved slots for students. Last year the school had about 135 students.
