A federal voting rights lawsuit is expected to be filed in Washington today against the state and the St. Louis Election Board. The charges stem from the November election of 2000 and the inactive voter list maintained by the St. Louis Election Board. It’s expected the lawsuit will say the rights of eligible voters were denied that day becuase their names were on the inactive list.
