After seven games of misery you could almost hear the smiles cracking on the Cardinals faces last night. They ended their losing streak with 5-3 win over the Expos. Albert Pujols hit a two run homer in the 1st inning to give the St. Louis the lead. Jim Edmonds hit a two run shot in the second inning and Matt Morris was able to cruise. Morris grabbed his 13th win of the year. JasonIsringhausen got his 25th save in two innings of relief. The Cardinals lead over the Astros is now two games, they lead the Reds by three. Garret Stephenson will come off the disabled list to start against the Mets on Saturday.
